Established in 1977, the EleHouse was the first official watering hole for students on campus.

The EleHouse building was based on the design of the Elephant House at London Zoo, which is where the name EleHouse is from.

Run by the Hertfordshire Students’ Union, the Elehouse serves food sourced in the UK and while there’s no such thing as a free meal, every penny you spend here goes straight back into improving the student experience.
